Local government agencies in North Carolina are major uses of GIS technology and are developers of geospatial data. The Local Government Committee (LGC) serves as a forum for organizations that represent local government GIS users and data producers in the state. The LGC prepares an annual work plan that directs the work of the committee and documents its accomplishments.
Standardized parcel data for all 100 counties is now available as a map service, a feature service, or as downloadable data from the the NC OneMap Geospatial Portal.
